Amelia Marek
An Idaho native, Amelia grew up in the small town of Grangeville, Idaho enjoying the outdoors rafting, biking, and skiing Idaho’s wild landscapes. After living and working abroad in Italy, Beijing, and Germany, she was inspired by her travels to bring new ideas and design to her Idaho communities. Architecture has become her medium to inspire others to see and question the world in new ways, finding unique juxtapositions to allow us to interact with the built environment differently. She believes architecture has the ability to tell a personal story of who we are, what’s important to us, and our hopes for the future. Amelia has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho and a post graduate degree from the Staedelshule Architecture Class (SAC) in Frankfurt, Germany with a focus in Architectural Aesthetic Practice. There she worked with world renowned architects to explore what’s next in architectural design and was able to showcase her work at the Venice Architecture Biennale, in Italy. With a focus in design and architectural aesthetics, Amelia enjoys working with the client to help them discover their personal style and encourages them to be imaginative in how they curate their space for their individual lifestyles. Her passion for design extends across many practices, including graphic design, textiles, product design, and fine arts.
